Hello At that place,
I have the same trouble. only when following the higher up mentioned steps my new windows 10 pc is informing me thatit cant observe whatever photos or videos on this iPhone...

Enable Photo Stream on your phone to import photos from iPhone to laptop. Get to Settings → Photos & Camera. Toggle "My Photograph Stream" on. Get to Systems Preferences and click on iCloud. Make certain Photo Stream is checked. Go to iPhoto preferences and click Photo Stream. Brand sure My Photograph Stream is checked.
